Ice Milk

When I was growing up our family didn’t eat ice cream. On occasion we did get some “ice milk”. Ice
milk looked like ice cream and came in containers like ice cream, but it was, in fact, not ice cream. It was
made with much less butter fat and was much cheaper. That’s why we got it: it was cheaper.
I wondered if they still made ice milk any longer and did some research. The answer is yes and no. It is
still manufactured but it isn’t called ice milk. It’s now called “low-fat ice cream”, it’s advertised as a
“more healthy” option, and costs at least as much as regular (real) ice cream. Amazing, isn’t it? A name
change and a little advertising and…boom!…my poor man’s ice cream is suddenly a desirable option to
help “keep one’s figure”!
In this day and time we change names and titles in order to try to overcome negative connotations or,
sometimes, to outright change people’s perception. The terms “mother” and “father” will no longer be
used on passports, opting for the more inclusive “parent 1” and “parent 2”. Even some liberal schools
and school systems are following suit. Some even replacing mother and father with a simple “grown
ups”.
Anything that would indicate gender is fair game. “Cisgender” is substituted for “straight” or anyone
who isn’t in the LGBTQ alphabet crowd. According to a guide published by the University of
Washington, words such as “grandfather,” “housekeeping,” “minority,” “ninja,” and “lame” are
considered “problematic words.” By far the most ridiculous, idiotic, and outrageous name-change is the
move to Mothers becoming known as “birthing people”.
I can try to accommodate some of those things, I guess, but some are pure nonsense. The “birthing
person” thing, for instance, is an attempt to get people to accept the lie bounced round by transgenders
and liberal “do-gooders” through their virtue-signaling, that men can have children. Nope. Sorry. Men
cannot bear children: Only a woman. And if you can bear children, that is absolute proof that you are,
indeed, one hundred percent female. You have the chromosomes, DNA, skeletal frame, and physical
organs that determine you are a woman. Your physicality doesn’t need to altered…your understanding
and mental perception need to be guided back to the truth.
Say good things about your Savior and His Church on the Bluff.
