Have you noticed some companies advertising their products without ever mentioning
the quality or price of the products? Generally, companies will speak of their high
standard of quality and/or the low price…the value. Now, it seems, more and more
want to engage in “virtue signaling”: espousing a value or societal virtue that they feel
will draw customers to them…almost regardless of their product. One that comes to
mind is a commercial that shows a young girl going through many family-type
accomplishments while referring to her stepfather by his first name. Until, that is, her
wedding day when she tells him “Thanks…dad”. Then it shows the Publix logo. Nothing
is on sale, nothing is new or improved, nothing has a price reduction…but Publix is full
of love for the family unit, so go on down and by something. That type of advertising is
surprisingly effective.
But what about a company that uses their virtue-signaling advertising to push an
agenda instead of simply encouraging people to buy their product? I watched a
commercial for a razor that began with a couple (at first glance a man and a woman)
having a good time as the male is preparing to shave. It doesn’t take long to realize that
the “male” has two prominent scars on “his” chest. That person has actually had a
double mastectomy…it is a woman whose breasts have been surgically removed. Do
they really believe that signaling that a woman who has mutilated her body is
acceptable (maybe even preferred by transgendered people) is going to gain them new
customers? No. In fact, it will cost them many customers for a while.
Then why do it? They do it because they know that the more they publicize the
debauchery and promote the insanity the more that people will become desensitized to
it. The shock and disbelief will wear off and people will begin to accept it as normal.
There will be yet another un-Godly attribute and lifestyle that will become a part of the
distancing people away from God and His purpose for humanity. I don’t know that there
is any collusion and plotting by the wealthy CEOs of these giant industries, but I do
know that there is very real satanic influence among them.
This is most definitely a battle between good and evil, right and wrong, and light and
darkness.
Say good things about your Savior and His church on this mountain!
